As of February 3, 2015, this fact has changed. Harper Lee's Go Set a Watchman is the "sequel" to TKAM said to have been written by Lee before TKAM. Mockingbird was the rewrite of Watchman in Scout, the main character's, childhood voice. The novel will be released on July 14, 2015. Yes, I have already bought my copy.
